Key Responsibilities

+ Conduct regular facility assessments and maintain detailed checklists.

+ Oversee the physical and operational integrity of building systems.

+ Coordinate planning and quality assurance for service contracts related to facility repairs.

+ Develop and submit recommendations for energy efficiency and sustainable practices.

+ Advocate for energy conservation initiatives.

+ Establish and implement a quality assurance program.

+ Perform quality inspections and provide oversight for maintenance and repair activities.

+ Review and refine task lists and cost estimates for maintenance projects.

+ Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for maintenance requirements.

+ Monitor life safety, security, and fire prevention measures, addressing any deficiencies.

+ Maintain up-to-date databases and inventories.

+ Respond to inquiries and requests for information.

+ Participate in Project Review Boards as needed.

+ Manage documentation, checklists, and reports.

+ Recruit and manage personnel for various operational needs.

+ Ensure personnel qualifications meet contractual requirements through a thorough verification process.

+ Foster collaborative relationships with engineering support teams, vendors, and management.

+ Monitor labor hour execution against performance criteria and report findings regularly.

+ Review and approve timecards for field maintenance staff.

+ Ensure accuracy in travel authorizations and maintain records of associated costs.

+ Compile and submit Monthly Progress Reports summarizing maintenance activities and contractor performance.

+ Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.

+ At least two years of experience in facility operations and maintenance.

+ A minimum of five years of experience in servicing and renovating commercial properties, including supervisory experience.

+ Ten years of related experience or a combination of education and experience.

+ Valid National Agency Check with Inquiry (NACI) clearance.

+ Possession of a valid Driver's License.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and internet applications.

+ Familiarity with relevant codes and standards, including NFPA, EPA, and OSHA.
