Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Handyman to join our team at Northern Virginia Investments. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our properties, ensuring they are in good condition and meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment to identify potential issues and address them promptly.
  • Perform minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs to maintain the integrity of our properties.
  • Complete punch list items and final touch-ups on construction projects to ensure a high-quality finish.
  • Repair and replace fixtures, hardware, and appliances to maintain the functionality and aesthetic appeal of our properties.
  • Troubleshoot issues and identify efficient solutions to resolve problems quickly and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to the client's satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Handyman or in a similar role, with a strong knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks, with good physical condition and stamina.
  • Strong communication skills and customer service orientation, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of clients and team members.
