Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Intake Operator to join our team at Dairy Farmers of America. As an Intake Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our dairy products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Receipt and Inspection
    • Inspect tanker trucks for proper documentation and product quality
    • Verify product temperature and weight to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Documentation and Record Keeping
    • Accurately document and record product receipt, including weight and temperature readings
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of product inventory
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Perform regular quality control checks on products to ensure compliance with company standards
    • Identify and report any quality or safety issues to management
  • Team Collaboration and Communication
    • Work effectively with production team members to ensure smooth product flow
    • Communicate clearly and accurately with team members and management regarding product receipt and quality issues
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
    • Production or general work experience preferred
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Able to follow directions and carry out instructions
    • Able to effectively work in a team environment
    • Able to legibly write entries for record keeping
    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
    • Must be able to read, write and speak English
