Job Description
  • This role involves providing exceptional care and support to patients and their families in an emergency veterinary setting.
Responsibilities
  1. Assist veterinarians and other healthcare professionals with patient exams, treatments, and surgeries.
  2. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  3. Operate medical equipment, including anesthesia machines and surgical instruments.
  4. Provide emotional support and education to clients and their pets.
  5. Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure seamless care and communication.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in animal science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 1 year of experience in a veterinary setting, preferably in emergency or critical care.
  • Strong knowledge of veterinary procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
