Dental Assistant

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice, working closely with our experienced dental team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting during various treatment procedures
- Taking dental x-rays
- Setting up and breaking down operatory post-treatment
- Executing patient handoffs and monitoring patient flow within the practice
- Managing infection control, preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
- Educating patients on proper oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health
- Completing denture soft relines and manufacturing temporary crowns
- Performing quality impressions and bite registrations
- Performing digital intraoral scans
- Supporting patient charting for doctors
- Performing various office tasks as necessary
- Collaborating with the practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
- Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice; including x-ray certification if required
