We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our educational team at 10 Points Inc.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced professional who will provide assessment, intervention, and consultation services to support the mental health and emotional well-being of students.

  • Program management, supervision, and oversight of general program management, supervision, and oversight;
  • Providing consultation/training periodically to staff on various assessment instruments and psychological methods;
  • Diagnostic & psychological assessments (including personality/projective assessments) and writing reports effectively presenting information, test results, diagnoses, & recommendations;
  • Liaison to students' outside psychologists and psychiatrists and providing individual & weekly small group therapy for 5 classrooms;
  • Crisis intervention in situations requiring immediate psychological treatment and evaluating progress of therapeutic programs making individual modifications;

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in psychotherapy, crisis management, and behavioral health with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. The salary is $85,000 per year based on the location and industry standards.

Requirements
  • Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D. in Psychology or licensed school psychologist (MA, MS, or CAGS);
  • Licensed in the state of Massachusetts;
  • Knowledge and experience with a variety of assessment instruments and psychological methods;
  • Mindfulness, DBT & CBT preferred; and knowledge of special education systems and laws;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and organizational skills & experience with being a team player;
  • Excellent critical thinking, written, and verbal skills and ability to maintain emotional stability;
