We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team at Matheson Tri-Gas. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our industrial air separation plants.
Key Responsibilities- Perform engineering activities to support plant operations, including reliability performance data analysis, project management, process optimization, and engineering design.
- Provide technical subject matter expertise support for production project management, procurement, and process/equipment design engineering.
- Implement and oversee change management, including process and equipment design, implementation, and testing.
- Conduct failure analysis and develop corrective action plans to prevent future failures.
- Assess and mitigate engineering, safety, quality, and reliability risks using tools such as DMAIC, HAZOP, FMEA, RAM, C&E, LOPA, and others.
- Collaborate with plant operations teams to identify and implement productivity and reliability improvements.
- Develop and enforce reliability best practices, including specifications, standards, and policies.
- Provide accurate, organized, and timely administrative reporting, including reports, schedules, tasks, time, and costs.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Reliability Maintenance, Industrial, Chemical, or Mechanical disciplines.
- 7-9 years of experience in engineering-related manufacturing, preferably in the industrial air separation industry.
- Project management experience, including planning, scheduling, and organizing multiple tasks and projects.
- Leadership skills, including mentoring, influencing, and organizing teams to achieve goals.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, including data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Certifications such as PMP, CMRP, or MRM are preferred.
This role will be performed in office environments as well as in industrial field environments. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, extreme cold, and high noise levels.
You must be able to work from a home location, which must be conducive to performing the role and duties, including virtual/video meetings.
You must also sign a non-disclosure agreement, have a clean driving record, and pass a background check and drug test.
