Job Summary:

Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Payload Launch Sites Support Services (PLSSS) Program.

This role involves providing technical support for maintenance, operation, and project planning for HVAC projects at multiple facilities. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing facility HVAC systems by executing preventative maintenance procedures, investigating anomalies, generating work authorizing documents, implementing upgrades, preparing drawings and procedures, and improving existing maintenance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute preventative maintenance procedures for facility HVAC systems
  • Investigate anomalies and generate work authorizing documents
  • Implement upgrades and prepare drawings and procedures
  • Improve existing maintenance procedures
  • Identify scope of work for mechanical designs and analyze existing systems
  • Make calculations and implement design projects
  • Update documentation and prepare cost estimates

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 4 years of experience in HVAC systems and mechanical engineering
  • Excellent interpersonal and documentation skills
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain TS/SCI w/Poly Clearance

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of psychometrics, fluid systems, and heat transfer
  • Familiarity with cleanroom systems, DDC Systems, and mechanical system codes
  • Experience with technical documentation, project planning, HVAC systems, and related standards
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
