We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to join our team at AdventHealth Waterman. As a key member of our Cath Lab/Special Procedures department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical skills during various cardiovascular, non-ablation electrophysiology, or interventional radiology procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Follows CDC isolation guidelines, appropriately uses PPE, and performs hand hygiene according to accepted standards of care.
- Verifies orders and facilitates implementation, communicating with physician as needed.
- Performs treatments and administers medications according to policy and training.
- Functions effectively in two of the three procedural roles (circulate, monitor, scrub) required in a therapeutic cardiac laboratory team.
- Proficiently performs diagnostic coronary procedures, diagnostic electrophysiology procedures, interventional radiology procedures, peripheral diagnostic and/or interventional procedures.
- High School Grad or Equiv and 0 years experience.
- Diploma or Certificate in Cardiovascular Technology, Nursing, Radiology, Paramedic, or Respiratory Therapy.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert and Basic Life Support - CPR Cert.
- Must possess and maintain one of the following: Registered Nurse (RN), Radiologic Technologist [R.T.(R)], Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Paramedic.
