We are seeking a skilled Medical Specialist to join our team at Grifols, a global healthcare company dedicated to improving the lives of millions of people.

Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position is based on licensure and experience, with competitive pay and opportunities for geographic mobility among our more than 300 donation centers. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, up to 6% 401K match, tuition reimbursement, PTO, holiday pay, and an opportunity to participate in our company bonus program.
Job DescriptionAs a Medical Specialist, you will be responsible for performing physical examinations and establishing medical histories to determine donor suitability. You will also build rapport with donors to ensure overall customer satisfaction, ensure donor and staff confidentiality, and provide donor education regarding general health and counseling regarding unacceptable test results.
You will evaluate and manage donor injuries and adverse events, perform evaluations of any history of illness or medications to ensure continued donor suitability, and assist in employee training. Additionally, you will administer the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program and perform other duties as required.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must be educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment and according to state requirements as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocation Nurse, Paramedic, or Emergency Medical Technicians. You must also have current CPR certification.
You will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will interact with donors, staff, and management on a regular basis.
