About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Cardiac Specialist to join our dynamic Cardiac Procedures team at St. Luke's Health System.

Job Summary:

  • The Medical Cardiac Specialist will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing cardiac procedures.
  • This role is ideal for a skilled nurse dedicated to cardiovascular health, patient education, and achieving optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

The Medical Cardiac Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct patient care during cardiac procedures
  • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conducting patient education and training on cardiovascular health and disease management
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment plans
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences
Requirements

To be successful as a Medical Cardiac Specialist, you will need:

  • An Associate of Nursing Degree, Diploma Certificate or BSN
  • At least 1 year of experience in cardiology or a related field
  • Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
