The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Unified Namespace technologies and their use cases, as well as proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or C#. They will also have experience with SCADA systems and data structures, and be able to work in a hybrid IT/OT environment.
The Digital Transformation Specialist will be responsible for defining architecture requirements for all layers, developing detailed software design specifications, and configuring SCADA applications, historians, databases, and data ops software. They will also commission, validate, and support the designed solutions.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering, computer science, or a related field, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. They will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement solutions using Unified Namespace technologies
- Utilize scripting languages for automation and integration tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IT and OT systems
- Understand and work with data structures across various data sources
- Provide technical leadership and support for project implementation, testing, and startup
- Maintain and update project documentation and provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or C#
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and data structures
- Strong understanding of Unified Namespace technologies and their use cases
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid IT/OT environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
