Position Overview:
The Packaging Operator plays a crucial role in the efficient packaging of manufactured chemical products. This position requires collaboration with the site planner, operations supervisor, and shipping department to uphold a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive materials that have successfully passed final quality checks.
  • Prepare the necessary packaging containers.
  • Accurately fill the prepared containers in accordance with specified configurations.

Work Schedule:
100% on-site
Shift:
First shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (with potential flexibility post-training for earlier start times)

Compensation:
$22.00 per hour

Job Type:
Contract

Expected Hours:
40 hours per week

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of manufacturing experience is required.
  • Forklift experience is not mandatory, as usage is infrequent.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
Steel-toed shoes (provided), long pants, and safety glasses will be required. Uniforms will also be supplied.

Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will demonstrate a consistent ability to follow procedures accurately and reliably. A strong track record in an operator role, particularly in a chemical environment, is preferred. The candidate should exhibit responsibility and accountability in their work.
