Emergency Room Nurse

At Memorial Health Meadows Hospital, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. As a Registered Nurse in the ER, you will play a vital role in providing timely and compassionate care to patients of all ages presenting for emergency care.
Responsibilities:- Triage, assess, and treat patients with emergency and life-threatening conditions
- Document pertinent nursing notes to reflect changes in condition, transfer, and discharge
- Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls, including phone triage when needed
- Coordinate and triage incoming ambulance traffic
- Manage care with primary ED attending
- Learn, understand, and use the Emergency Severity Index 5-level triage algorithm
- Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures, and treatments, providing support throughout their stay
- Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required
