Position Summary

The Front Closing Manager oversees the daily operations of the store team during assigned shifts, stepping in for the Store Manager and Assistant Managers as needed. This role is crucial for ensuring the store's closing procedures are followed, safeguarding store assets, and supervising team performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the store is closed according to established protocols.
  • Supervise and guide the daily functions of both full-time and part-time team members.
  • Engage with customers in a polite and friendly manner.
  • Handle cash register operations efficiently.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints, including processing exchanges and refunds.
  • Perform front-end administrative tasks, such as cash counting, till preparation, cash drops, and gift card sales.
  • May assist in the interview process but does not have hiring authority.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • In-depth product knowledge with the ability to train team members
  • Previous supervisory or training experience is advantageous
  • Experience in cash handling is essential
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50lbs regularly
  • Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts is required; day shifts are not offered.
  • Valid driver's license is necessary
  • Compensation is based on experience, with performance-based raises.
