We are seeking a dedicated instructor to teach introductory chemistry courses to students majoring in Allied Health and STEM fields. As an Instructor of Science, you will contribute to the educational mission of the University of Northern Iowa's Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. This is a three-year term position, starting in August 2025. The standard teaching load in the Department is 12 total classroom/lab contact hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Principles of Chemistry and Applied Organic and Biochemistry to Allied Health majors
  • Teach General Chemistry I & II to STEM majors
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments
