We're seeking a seasoned Litigation Paralegal to join our client's dynamic team at Gable Search Group. Our client is a leading provider of legal services, and we're looking for a professional with a minimum of 3 years' experience to support their attorneys in a fast-paced litigation environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply your sharp attention to detail and critical thinking skills in all tasks, ensuring accuracy and precision in document preparation and management.
  • Take a proactive approach in supporting attorneys, providing exceptional support and assistance in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Respond to requests with a sense of urgency and prioritize tasks effectively, managing multiple projects simultaneously with ease.
  • Utilize your experience with eDiscovery software to organize data for document production requests, ensuring seamless and efficient document management.
  • Edit and proofread documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with all legal standards, maintaining the highest level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Stay ahead of the curve with a thorough understanding of litigation processes, including depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Keep track of deadlines proactively, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Manage cases diligently, notifying attorneys of necessary actions and providing expert support throughout the litigation process.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • File documents electronically with the courts, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
  • Draft documents and filings with precision, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist in preparation for depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials, providing expert support and assistance to attorneys.
  • Bring a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs to the table, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Exercise sound judgment, including the ability to identify and escalate issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Deliver excellent oral and written communication, providing clear and concise information to attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Prioritize tasks, multi-task, and meet deadlines consistently, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.

Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of related experience in a law firm or legal environment.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with eDiscovery software, specifically Relativity and Trial Director.
  • Proficient command of the English language and standard grammar rules.
  • A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
