About the Position
In this role, you will be accountable for the timely execution of various on-site tasks, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
Your Contributions
Mail and Courier Management:
- Oversee the accurate receiving, sorting, delivery, pickup, and processing of all courier items, interoffice correspondence, and all classes of postal mail.
- Monitor and track courier and accountable items (e.g., FedEx, UPS, Certified Mail).
- Investigate and direct unidentified and generic mail.
- Log, deliver, and track messenger items efficiently.
- Address customer inquiries and requests promptly.
- Conduct routine maintenance of equipment.
- Document and track customer inquiries and the fulfillment of requests.
Shipping and Receiving Duties:
- Manage the shipping and receiving of incoming and outgoing packages, materials, and products while verifying and maintaining shipment records.
- Accept shipments, count items, retain shipment documentation, adhere to delivery schedules, and secure customer signatures.
- Operate shipping and receiving equipment, respond to customer requests, perform data entry, and maintain inventory levels.
About You: Skills and Qualifications
This position involves direct customer interaction and requires adherence to customer policies and protocols, which may include health and safety measures.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required, along with less than one year of relevant experience.
Basic computer skills and technical knowledge are essential.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
Strong customer service and communication skills are necessary.
Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Must take all necessary steps to obtain security and/or other clearances required to access customer premises.
Driving between multiple client locations may be required, necessitating a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Willingness to spend extended periods standing, bending, walking, reaching, and pulling while performing job duties.
