Medical Organ Recovery Specialist

HonorBridge is seeking a highly skilled Medical Organ Recovery Specialist to join our team. As a licensed physician, you will play a critical role in the organ donation process, ensuring the highest standards of recovery and research.
This position requires excellent surgical skills, leadership, and collaboration with medical professionals to increase the availability of organs suitable for transplantation. You will be responsible for performing surgical recoveries of donor organs, adhering to national standards and procedures for organ recovery and transplantation.
The estimated salary for this position is $**$250,000 - $350,000 per year**, based on industry standards and your level of experience. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Doctor of Medicine degree, a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, and a current valid North Carolina driver license. Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal abilities are also essential.
- Perform surgical recoveries of donor organs, ensuring the highest standards in organ recovery and research.
- Collaborate with transplant center surgeons, administrators, and medical professionals to enhance recovery rates.
- Act as a physician resource regarding intraoperative observations of organs for transplant and communicate those observations to the transplant center for organ suitability.
