About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Health and Wellness Coordinator to join our team at Hawthorne Court. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering personal care services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and Deliver Personal Care Services: Work with our care staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality personal care services to our residents.
  • Provide Information and Guidance: Provide necessary information to direct care staff to promote safe and high-quality care.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Create overall staffing schedules, provide guidelines for staffing, and design strategies for staffing changes and overtime management.
  • Support the Health and Wellness Director/Manager: Assist the Health and Wellness Director/Manager as needed.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication and Time Management Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with care staff and residents, and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: Ability to be creative and flexible in executing multi-faceted problem-solving.
  • Geriatric Knowledge and Experience: Experience in Assisted Living strongly preferred, and ability to demonstrate evidence of current geriatric knowledge with work experience required.
  • Supervisory Experience: A minimum of two years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Education: Associate's Degree in a health-related field recommended.
