Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital is actively seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine physician to join the Hospital Medicine department in Jersey Shore, PA.

Geisinger Jersey Shore is recognized as a Level IV trauma center, equipped with 25 accredited beds and a helipad for the transport of critically injured patients requiring advanced medical care.
As a hospitalist, you will have access to cutting-edge medical technology and resources, enabling you to provide the highest standard of care to your patients.
Your role will extend beyond direct patient care, with opportunities for involvement in research, education, and quality improvement initiatives.
Position Details:
As part of your responsibilities, you will interview patients to gather information regarding symptoms, medical histories, and family histories. You will perform and interpret diagnostic tests as necessary, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans for injuries and illnesses. You may also prescribe or administer medications and maintain comprehensive records that include patient histories, examination findings, treatment plans, and outcomes. Your work will primarily take place in a clinical and office environment, and you will be accountable for fulfilling all job-specific obligations while adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
