Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Jira Administrator to join our team at Amentum. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining our Jira instance, ensuring seamless workflow and efficient process execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain Jira instance, including configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and implement custom workflows, dashboards, and reports to support business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and document processes, propose options and improvements, and implement custom solutions.
  • Utilize Automation and other plugins to streamline solutions and develop workflows.
  • Manage custom dashboards in Confluence and Jira, tailoring them frequently to support a dynamic environment.
  • Collaborate across teams to innovate and deliver solutions unique to our customer.
  • Responsible for maintenance, administration, upgrades, patching, and integration of additional plugins.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in Jira/Atlassian administration or development in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience administering and working within a virtualized environment.
  • Ability to articulate technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems with various levels of stakeholders.
  • Experience working within classified enterprise networks.
  • Experience working within ticketing systems (i.e. Jira, ServiceNow, etc).
  • Experience creating technical documentation.
  • Required IAT Certs: one or more of the following: Security+, CASP+ or CISSP.
  • Required Vendor Cert: one or more of the following: Microsoft, Linux, ACP-MJCP, ACP-MJSP, ACP-JCA, ACP-JA, ACP-JPA, or any other related vendor certification. If not currently achieved, then must achieve within 6 months of hire.
Clearance Required

Active TS/SCI

Minimum Years of Experience

Four years

Preferred
  • Experience with scripting languages.
  • Prior military experience.
