Job DescriptionSummary

The Project Manager I is responsible for planning and implementing smaller, less complex projects from sales order acknowledgement through final customer acceptance. This role serves as the point of contact for customers and provides project updates to both internal and external customers to manage expectations and validate timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work with the project team and customer to define project scope, goals, risks, and deliverables.
  2. Define roles, required tasks, and resources, and work with leaders to allocate resources.
  3. Coordinate and lead the risk burndown kick-off and facilitate follow-up meetings.
  4. Manage the project team and run MCR project meetings.
  5. Track, analyze, and regularly report on the project budget.
  6. Work with Master Scheduler to create the project schedule and communicate status to project team.
  7. Prepare, schedule, and lead Integrated Planning Sessions (IPS) and follow through on the IPS throughout the life of the project.
  8. Track and ensure completion of deliverables.
  9. Regularly communicate progress, problems, and viable solutions to customers.
  10. Oversee timely invoicing per contract terms.
  11. Oversee post shipment start-up and Site Acceptance Test to ensure customer needs are clearly understood and acknowledged.
Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or an associate degree and three years of progressively responsible experience in an OEM environment.
