Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting global networks, a high level of technical skills for troubleshooting and problem analysis, along with the ability to clearly communicate the results of problem analysis to business stakeholders, IT support teams, and network providers to quickly and effectively resolve operational issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, maintenance and third level Support for Firewalls, including Next Gen
- Design, maintenance and third level Support for Wireless Infrastructure
- Design, maintenance and third level Support for Network Voice Infrastructure
- Design, maintenance and third level Support for Load Balancers
- Design, maintenance and third level Support for SD WAN
- Subject matter expert support for Network Access Control systems (Forescout CounterAct, Cisco Client)
Requirements:
- Established and proven experience of providing WAN & LAN support in diverse environments.
- High proficient and experienced with data center networks (Arista VXLAN, EVP, Cloudvision)
- Demonstrate a working knowledge, understanding, and experience with the following:
- Network infrastructure (WAN, MAN, LAN, Wifi, QoS for Data, Voice, and Video)
- Network protocols (IP, OSPF, BGP, RIP, IPSec, etc)
- MPLS / VPN / Hybrid WAN / Metro Networks / leased lines
- Network Hardware (Cisco routers and switches, cabling, firewalls)
- VOIP and Collaboration Systems (Skype for Business, Avaya)
- Network connections to Cloud Providers (AWS, Azure, etc)
- Network performance analysis and reporting
- Incident, Change and Problem Management processes within an ITIL based framework.
- Identity Management (Active Directory, ADFS, Azure AD, 2 Factor Auth, Radius, PEAP)
- Wireshark, Netflow, Riverbed, Nagios
- Microsoft (Server and Desktop), Linux
- Microsoft Office 365 & Visio Professional
- Ability and motivation to learn new technologies.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent experience with certifications.
- Logical, analytical approach to problem solving and attentive to detail.
- Knowledge of Agile Methodologies and experience in agile practices.
- Self-motivated and results oriented and holds oneself to high standards of delivery.
- Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills.
- Strong team player; able to work effectively within a team and more broadly with people from a variety of backgrounds and areas across the organization.
- Takes an innovative approach to problem solving and solutioning.
- Provides organizational leadership and guidelines to promote the development and exploitation of technical knowledge in the organization.
- Has sufficient technical knowledge and practical experience to give leadership to multi-specialist projects.
