We are seeking a highly skilled Satellite Systems Engineer to join our team at Airbus U.S. Space & Defense, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the functional verification and validation activity for aerospace projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans and test procedures to ensure product quality
  • Design and build automated testing systems, tooling, and ground support equipment to optimize production and test workflow
  • Execute and validate test documentation and equipment, and train others to run validated procedures and equipment
  • Troubleshoot issues with hardware and/or equipment, collect and analyze test data, and write/review test reports and documentation
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or related scientific areas
  • 9 years of aerospace experience, including 5+ years' experience in satellite operation and SEIT on spacecraft
  • Experience with common Systems Engineering and Test tools, such as DOORS, CCS5, and JIRA
  • Familiarity with satellite operation, and any subsystem engineering, including Guidance, Navigation, Control, Power system, Data Handling, and Software
