Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL A Truck Driver to join our team at Comfort Systems USA Southeast. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering materials to commercial and industrial jobsites, working closely with our construction team to ensure timely and efficient delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver materials, including HVAC equipment, ductwork, and tools, to commercial and industrial construction jobsites
  • Load and unload materials on trailers and flatbeds
  • Perform general maintenance on company grounds, including operation of lawnmowers, weed eaters, and pressure washing machines
  • Operate a forklift as needed
  • Assist with warehouse duties, including receiving materials and using computer/iPad for inventory management

Requirements

  • Class "A" CDL license
  • Medical Card (company will provide if needed)
  • Ability to travel to/from FL, AL, GA, and MS to pick up and deliver materials
  • Ability to deliver materials to jobsites on military bases (must pass a government background screening)
  • Ability to use company electronics, including cell phones, iPads, and computers
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred (company will provide if needed)

  • Regular and punctual attendance
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight travel
  • Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop, and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening
  • Ability to pass MVR check

Compensation

  • Wage Range Starting at: $20.00+/hr. based on qualifications & experience
