Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at CDMun. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will provide internal clinical behavioral health and leader support and training to commanders and Soldiers within the Office of the Command Psychologist US Army Recruiting Command (USAREC).

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and recommend unit behavioral health initiatives that promote a positive and safe environment for Soldiers and their Families.
  • Develop and implement the Integrated Leader Development Program.
  • Identify factors that negatively affect desired organizational culture and develop strategies to improve unit success.
  • Provide training and coaching to leaders on stress management and appropriate leader actions.
  • Implement evidence-based psychotherapy modalities and conduct research to inform best practices.
  • Complete and maintain all military and professional licensure training requirements and ensure all professional licenses and certifications are in good standing and unrestricted.
  • Safeguard information and client confidentiality.
Requirements
  • Hold a PsyD or PhD doctoral degree in clinical or counseling Psychology from a graduate program Accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).
  • Have one (1) year of supervised clinical experience at an APA accredited internship program that provides psychological services under the direct supervision of a licensed psychologist as required by the Association of Psychology and Postdoctoral Internship Center (APPIC).
  • Shall be in good standing and hold unrestricted Clinical Psychologist license issued from a state or territory licensing board of the United States of America.
  • Shall be computer literate and have the ability to operate Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Strong listening, observation, and communication skills.
  • High analytical mindset.
  • Empathetic and sensitive when working with patients.
  • Possess expert diagnostic skills.

Additional Qualifying Factors

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, a health screening to include TB testing, obtain and maintain a Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support Certification approved by the American Heart Associations, be successfully credentialed by the base Medical Treatment Facility, have acceptable references, obtain a favorable adjudicated National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI) or an equivalent or higher investigation in accordance with Army Directive 2014-05, and obtain a Common Access card which allows access to the military base and protected data. You must have reliable transportation to/from work and the ability to travel to other bases as requested to perform your contracted duties.
