Job Opportunity:
Harris Health System is seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian for our LBJ Hospital. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will provide nutritional care to patients by assessing their nutritional status, developing care plans, and counseling patients and their families. You will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure that patients receive optimal nutrition support during their hospital stay.

About the Position:

Harris Health System is a renowned health system comprising three teaching hospitals and an extensive network of ambulatory care centers serving the people of Harris County, Texas. Our staff includes faculty, fellows, and residents from two nationally ranked medical schools: Baylor College of Medicine and The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field required.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) credential is mandatory.
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and ability to apply it in patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
