Key Responsibilities of the Shift Supervisor:

  • Oversee shifts independently, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Implement employee disciplinary measures as necessary and communicate significant performance issues to management.
  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team to maintain optimal staffing levels and contribute to scheduling decisions.
  • Exhibit strong coaching, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Provide feedback on team member performance evaluations.
  • Assign and confirm the completion of daily and weekly operational tasks.
  • Work towards enhancing customer service ratings.
  • Facilitate breaks for all team members.
  • Understand and manage cash handling processes.
  • Encourage, mentor, and recognize team members while ensuring accountability.
  • Serve as the go-to expert for all front-of-house operations.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Prior leadership experience in fast-casual dining or a similar sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Basic proficiency in computer skills.
  • Capable of meeting the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to personal development.
  • Strong multitasking abilities.
  • Exceptional team-building and leadership qualities.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic setting.
