The Role:
As a Private Accounting Services (PAS) Intern, you will be an integral part of client service teams. Interns are assigned to engagements akin to an Associate, receiving both formal and practical training to refine and enhance their technical abilities.
Intern Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting the coordination of administrative functions, including accounting and general ledger operations;
- Preparing account reconciliations and financial statements;
- Conducting basic accounting research and providing written conclusions.
Requirements:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or an advanced degree in Accounting, Taxation, JD, or LLM;
- Eligible candidates should be in their third year of a four-year degree program or in their fourth year of a five-year degree program;
- A minimum GPA of 3.0;
- Demonstrated leadership, multitasking, and organizational skills;
- Self-motivated with the initiative to identify opportunities in a dynamic environment;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of client and firm management, both in writing and verbally.
