Deaconess Health System is seeking a full-time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Pulmonary Critical Care department. This is a salary hospital-based position rotating through Deaconess Midtown, Gateway, and Henderson campuses. The APP will be part of a team-based care model for ICU and pulmonary floor patients. Shift length is generally 12 hours, with options for weekend coverage on Friday-Sunday. Rotating holiday coverage may be required, and minimal night coverage may be necessary from the day shift team to ensure adequate staffing. Candidates should be licensed in the states of Indiana and Kentucky and hold certification by the ANCC/AANP as a Certified Nurse Practitioner or the NCCPA as a Certified Physician Assistant. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
