The Opportunity

As a Medical Care Specialist, you'll play a critical role in providing an exceptional experience for our patients by delivering high-quality venipuncture services, performing extended scope duties, and maintaining high standards of in-office care. You'll also be responsible for dispensary responsibilities, patient communication, and team collaboration.

  • Provide best-in-class venipuncture services for patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
  • Perform and assist with extended scope duties, including non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs
  • Maintain high standards of in-office care through proper specimen labeling, handling, and processing, inventory upkeep, and tool sterilization
  • Dispensary responsibilities include verifying counts, maintaining inventory, placing orders, receiving and stocking, filling, packaging, and labeling prescriptions for patient pick-up

What You'll Need:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • An active phlebotomy certification to practice in WA and at least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of a training/exernship environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in computer technology, including typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously
  • Experience working on collaborative, diverse, multi-disciplinary teams (additional experience with remote teams a plus)
