Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Maplewood at Newtown LLC. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
  • Engage residents through conversation, programs, and activities that promote socialization and mental stimulation
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure resident care needs are met and documented
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including resident rooms and common areas

Requirements

  • Current Connecticut Nurse's Aide Registration
  • Experience working with seniors, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that require physical stamina
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
