Nursing Professor

SUNY Broome Community College is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated individual to join our team as an Assistant Professor in Nursing. This is a full-time, 10-month tenure track appointment that offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
About the PositionThe successful candidate will be responsible for teaching didactic, skills laboratory, and clinical instruction in our Associate Degree Nursing Program. They will also be expected to contribute to curriculum development, committee assignments, and ensuring the achievement of program outcomes. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to participate in innovative curriculum development, simulation learning experiences, and partnerships with community healthcare agencies.
Requirements- Master's degree in Nursing required (current enrollment in a nursing master's degree program will be considered)
- Must be licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in New York State
- Three (3) years of teaching experience or appropriate combination of teaching, relevant work experience, or scholarly activity required
- Two (2) years of hospital-based medical/surgical experience desired
- Ability to teach evening class and every other weekend clinical preferred
