Responsibilities
  • Teach graduate and/or undergraduate courses in nursing and health sciences
  • Contribute to advising and mentoring students
  • Engage in program, school, college, and university committees
  • Pursue ongoing scholarship and research in their area of expertise
Requirements
  • ABD (with PhD completed within one year of start date) or earned research doctorate in nursing, health sciences, or a closely related discipline
  • Eligibility for appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor (tenure-track or tenured options)
  • Record of research trajectory and/or scholarship
  • Eligible for professional licensure in New York State, applicable to candidates' discipline
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level
  • Eligible for APRN licensure in New York State, applicable to candidates prepared as a nurse
