Job Title: Mammography Technologist II

At Sutter Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mammography Technologist II to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

Job Summary:

The Mammography Technologist II is responsible for performing routine and specialized breast procedures to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. This role requires a strong understanding of diagnostic mammography principles, procedures, and equipment, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and specialized breast procedures, including mammography and ultrasound, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of diagnostic mammography principles, procedures, and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment.
  • Collaborate with the radiology team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
  • RHM-Radiology Mammography upon hire.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider upon hire.
  • 2 years recent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and related information systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay Range: $58.30 to $72.87 per hour. The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location.
