IT Infrastructure Manager

The Omaha Tribe of Nebraska is seeking a highly skilled IT Administrator to oversee and maintain all aspects of our computer infrastructure. This includes managing networks, servers, and security programs and systems, as well as performing troubleshooting and data recovery tasks.

• IT Systems Management: Develop and implement processes for the organization's IT systems and department, ensuring optimal function and minimal downtime.
• Security and Compliance: Establish and maintain security protocols, including intrusion detection and prevention systems, to protect the organization's information from breach or loss.
• Network Administration: Monitor and analyze network load, including traffic and utilization trends, and oversee the work of technical support staff as they manage network hubs, routers, and servers.
• Team Leadership: Hire, train, and manage IT staff, including scheduling, organizing, and assigning projects to team members.
• Performance Evaluation: Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations, and handle discipline and termination of employees as needed.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or equivalent required; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience: At least five years of experience in computer systems, with at least three years specializing in computer security.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, thorough understanding of networking protocols, LAN networking, and WAN networking, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
