Job Description
">The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, leadership skills, and excellent customer service abilities. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing daily service operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery, managing technicians, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Main Responsibilities:
">- Team Management: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of HVAC service technicians, providing them with the necessary tools, training, and resources to perform their jobs effectively.
- Service Operations: Oversee daily HVAC service operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and ensuring that service requests are handled promptly and professionally.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all service work meets company standards and complies with safety regulations, performing quality checks on completed work and customer satisfaction follow-ups.
- Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any service-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Budget and Cost Control: Monitor and control the service department's budget, ensuring that costs stay within target and that service jobs are completed efficiently.
- Scheduling and Dispatching: Efficiently manage and optimize technician schedules to ensure all service calls are covered, addressing any scheduling conflicts or urgent service requests.
- Inventory Management: Ensure that the service department is stocked with the necessary parts and tools to perform maintenance and repair work efficiently.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all service work adheres to safety regulations and industry standards, keeping up-to-date with HVAC codes, environmental regulations, and best practices.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate service records, technician logs, and customer service reports, providing management with regular updates on departmental performance.
Qualifications:
">- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a technical degree or certification in HVAC being preferred.
- At least [X] years of experience in HVAC service, with at least [X] years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and repair processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and solve problems under pressure.
- Proficiency in service management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid HVAC certification and relevant licenses as required by local regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call availability, when needed.
