We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing exceptional patient support and ensuring seamless interactions between departments.

Key Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Greet patients and families at the front desk with a warm and welcoming smile.
  • Troubleshoot issues with patients using the new iPad system for check-in/screening, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing disruptions.
  • Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and handle referrals in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Respond to patient inquiries regarding appointments, insurance, and payments in a clear and concise manner.
  • Assist with the transfer of patients between departments, guaranteeing a smooth transition and excellent care.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including chart preparation and maintenance of medical records.
  • Coordinate patient appointments and information flow between departments and external organizations, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A background in administration, including experience with filing, scanning, and data entry.
  • Technical skills in Adobe, PDF, Outlook, and Excel, with the ability to convert documents efficiently.
  • The capacity to work under deadlines without supervision, demonstrating independence and self-motivation.
  • Excellent organizational skills, enabling you to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Mastery of mathematical skills, particularly in counting and verifying deposits.
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, prior experience in the healthcare industry, specifically with medical records, payments, and insurance verification, would be beneficial. Additionally, proficiency in ModMod (EMA system) and prior PSR experience would be valuable assets. Strong interpersonal skills, a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care would make you an ideal candidate.
