Position Summary: This role involves executing all technical responsibilities within one of the specialized fields: electronic, mechanical, or systems. Responsibilities include conducting tests, measurements, operations, or process controls, as well as troubleshooting to identify and rectify product, process, or program issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute technical tasks on all projects within the functional work group; apply testing techniques and procedures for all critical cell projects.
  • Utilize job packets, routings, work orders, wire lists, quality travelers, and bills of material effectively.
  • Maintain and manage production tools and equipment.
  • Demonstrate abilities in blueprint reading, component identification, wire preparation, stripping, crimping, harness repair, and termination; proficient use of relevant manual hand tools.
  • Possess skills in electronics, hydraulics, and/or mechanical assemblies, as well as automated machine operation and programming.
  • Conduct valve repairs, hydrostatic testing, and assembly of components.

Job Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid photo ID is necessary; a specific license is not mandatory.
  • Must be able to pass a urine and hair follicle drug test along with a background check.
  • Experience requirements are flexible.
  • Mechanical aptitude is essential.
  • Experience with forklifts or overhead cranes is advantageous.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Willingness to work extended hours (12-hour shifts) is essential.
  • Understanding the significance of attendance and punctuality is crucial.
  • Ability to comprehend the fundamentals of pneumatic torque wrenches.
  • Mechanical skills are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exhibit punctuality, a positive work attitude, and self-motivation.
  • Prior mechanical experience is advantageous.

Additional Information:
  • Work schedule consists of a 12 and 2 rotation (12 days on, 2 days off), with day shifts from 7 am to 7 pm currently.
  • Compensation is set at $19.00 per hour.
  • This position is contract-to-hire.

Working Environment: The role will be conducted indoors within a large workshop. Candidates will be on their feet for approximately 95% of the day. The work environment is notably loud due to the operation of impact torque wrenches in various areas, and the daily pace is fast and high-traffic.
