About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Schwan's Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our facilities and equipment, ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, including predictive maintenance, equipment repair and rebuilds, electrical and mechanical work, and grounds maintenance.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.
  • Lead and train a team of maintenance technicians to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment issues and optimize production processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements, including OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of company assets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of maintenance materials and services.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance, including 2+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including predictive maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team of maintenance technicians.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment, with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
