Job Summary:
The Clinical Research Assistant provides support to the research team by collecting, entering, abstracting, and managing study data for sponsor data systems, publication, or other reporting.
The Clinical Research Assistant may also assist the Clinical Research Nurse and/or Clinical Research Coordinator in the set-up and execution of clinical research protocol procedures and associated administrative responsibilities.
In some cases, the Clinical Research Assistant may coordinate retrospective, quality, and other non-therapeutic research trials under Principal Investigator direction.
The Clinical Research Assistant is responsible for maintaining research medical equipment, accurately maintaining logs, performing protocol-related tasks as assigned, inventorying, storing, ordering, and maintaining study-related equipment and supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, enter, abstract, and manage study data for sponsor data systems, publication, or other reporting.
- Assist the Clinical Research Nurse and/or Clinical Research Coordinator in the set-up and execution of clinical research protocol procedures and associated administrative responsibilities.
- Coordinate retrospective, quality, and other non-therapeutic research trials under Principal Investigator direction.
- Maintain research medical equipment, accurately maintain logs, and perform protocol-related tasks as assigned.
- Inventory, store, order, and maintain study-related equipment and supplies.
Requirements:
- One year of experience in a research or healthcare setting.
- Associate Degree.
- Certified Clinical Data Manager, Certified Clinical Research Associate, Certified Clinical Research Coordinator, Certified Clinical Research Professional, Certified Medical Assistant, or Certified Tumor Registrar.
