About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT System Administrator to join our team at Postman. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing world-class technical support to our team members, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to remote and on-site users, including onboarding, installing, and upgrading software, hardware setup, and configuring systems, workstations, and applications.
  • Investigate and diagnose problems quickly and efficiently, and coordinate with other engineers or 3rd parties as needed to resolve them.
  • Work closely with team members in different departments and time zones to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Design, architect, and administer enterprise-wide applications used for productivity and collaboration (GSuite, Zoom, Slack, Atlassian, Okta).
  • Create and update knowledge base articles and self-service documentation.
  • Account life cycle management from new hires to account/application deactivations.
  • Design and implement efficient and scalable identity and access management solutions and processes.
  • Ensure SLA's are well defined (and met) as related to current and future workload volumes.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience working with productivity and collaboration toolsets.
  • Solid understanding of SAAS Applications, GSuite, Okta, Slack, Jamf, Intune, Mac OS, and Windows OS.
  • Experience using ITSM tools for ticket tracking Jira, ServiceNow, etc.
  • Ability to perform in-depth research and troubleshooting for complex technical issues.
  • Strong time management and organization skills; able to prioritize multiple requests effectively.
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently, identify opportunities, and develop new ideas for efficiencies.

Location: This role will require the candidate to be onsite at one of our Bay Area offices (SF, Berkeley, or Cupertino) three days a week.
