Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our food and beverage operations in Plano, Texas. As the driving force behind our commitment to exceptional hospitality, you will be responsible for creating unforgettable experiences for our guests and ensuring the utmost satisfaction of both our valued guests and dedicated staff members.

This role requires a results-oriented individual with a proven track record of marrying quantitative analysis with qualitative assessment and measurement in program development, evaluation, and refinement. You will be responsible for ensuring only the highest quality products are served, maintaining a high standard of service efficiency, sanitation, and training, and upholding the highest standards of quality in food, beverages, service, cleanliness, and sanitation.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  1. Ensure only the highest quality products are served and meet each guest's expectations.
  2. Ensure a high standard of service efficiency, sanitation, and training.
  3. Ensure all productivity and quality standards are maintained.
  4. Understand, comply with, and enforce all company policies, procedures, and operating standards, as well as federal, state, and local laws and ordinances.
  5. Prioritize P&L responsibility and have a proven capability to marry quantitative analysis with qualitative assessment and measurement in program development, evaluation, and refinement.
  6. Assist with the development, performance, coaching, and training of staff members.
  7. Responsible for reporting any staff member issues to management.
  8. Lead front-of-house operations, including performing opening and closing responsibilities and assigning duties to staff members.
  9. Lead and manage successful, quality shifts by consistently utilizing systems and tools.
  10. Oversee labor control and assign duties to staff members.
  11. Conduct inventory on a consistent basis.
  12. Ensure overall guest and staff member satisfaction.
  13. Communicate and establish rapport with guests.
  14. Engage with guests to ensure guest satisfaction and retention through table visits.
  15. Accountable for all facets of service, production, and quality controls.
  16. Responsible for comping and discounting guest checks when applicable.
  17. Adhere to responsible alcohol service established by local law and company policy.
  18. Understand and utilize all safety and sanitation practices defined in the safety program; report any accidents.
General Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in food and beverage management roles in a multi-unit setting.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Bar management experience is a must.
  • Excellent reading, writing, mathematical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with other departments and outside contacts.
  • Ability to complete a heavy workload and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Health permit/food safety and alcohol awareness certifications/cards individually and provide proof of possession before the first day of employment, subject to local laws.
