We are seeking a highly skilled Multimodality Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, transfer, and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring modesty and safety.
- Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exams, obtain informed consent, and complete required fields within our electronic medical record system.
- Remain proficient in executing software protocols and stay up-to-date with changes in the field through ongoing education and training.
- Check the operation of imaging equipment, maintain cleanliness, and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Completion of a 24-month program in Radiologic Technology at an accredited, AMA-approved institution.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of current/recent experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting.
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and/or lifting of patients/equipment up to 50 lbs.
