Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Radiology Technologist Nights to join our Imaging Team at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital. As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform routine diagnostic procedures for clinical X-ray films, ensuring high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images. You will work closely with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of procedures/studies accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist in administration of contrast media in accordance with departmental policy and procedure.
  • Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures.
  • Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images.
  • Maintain proactive, effective communication with patients and radiologists regarding any findings, patient histories, and test results as appropriate.
  • Collaborate and confer with all colleagues and members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician.
  • Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate.
