Key Responsibilities- Operate company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers, ensuring accurate inventory management.
- Prepare products for delivery, adhering to quality and food safety standards.
- Receive and process telephone orders, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues promptly.
- Clean equipment and facilities daily, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- 2 years of driving experience, including learners permit.
- 18 years of age or older.
As a Delivery Driver, you will be exposed to various working conditions, including:
- In-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees in the cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas.
- Sudden changes in work area and while outside.
- Fumes from food odors.
- Exposure to cornmeal dust.
- Cramped quarters, including walk-in coolers.
- Hot surfaces from ovens/tools up to 500 degrees or higher.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
The physical demands of this role include:
- Standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying up to 30 pounds, pushing/pulling trays on dollies.
- Climbing, stopping/bending at the waist for 30-45 seconds repeatedly, crouching/squatting, reaching up/down/forward.
- Performing hand tasks using hand-eye coordination and utilizing various tools, equipment, and work aids.
