Key Responsibilities
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers, ensuring accurate inventory management.
  • Prepare products for delivery, adhering to quality and food safety standards.
  • Receive and process telephone orders, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Clean equipment and facilities daily, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • 2 years of driving experience, including learners permit.
  • 18 years of age or older.
Working Conditions

As a Delivery Driver, you will be exposed to various working conditions, including:

  • In-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees in the cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas.
  • Sudden changes in work area and while outside.
  • Fumes from food odors.
  • Exposure to cornmeal dust.
  • Cramped quarters, including walk-in coolers.
  • Hot surfaces from ovens/tools up to 500 degrees or higher.
  • Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include:

  • Standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying up to 30 pounds, pushing/pulling trays on dollies.
  • Climbing, stopping/bending at the waist for 30-45 seconds repeatedly, crouching/squatting, reaching up/down/forward.
  • Performing hand tasks using hand-eye coordination and utilizing various tools, equipment, and work aids.
