Job Description

Ferguson Construction is a leading general contractor with over 100 years of experience in heavy and light industrial, commercial, healthcare, and institutional markets. Our in-house design department enables us to self-perform various trades, including concrete, masonry, steel erection, general carpentry, and sheet metal roofing and siding.

The Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all aspects of jobsite management, including staffing, scheduling, and business partner/subcontractor relations. This role requires extensive industry experience and a strong understanding of client needs, project requirements, and company systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project staffing and scheduling to ensure timely completion.
  • Develop and maintain site logistics to optimize project efficiency.
  • Coordinate material delivery, storage, and use to minimize waste and delays.
  • Ensure accurate layout and communication of project information to all trades.
  • Lead and assist with job set-up, safety compliance, record-keeping, quality control, and closeout as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
  • At least five years of practical leadership experience in commercial construction.
  • Current OSHA 30-hour or 10-hour OSHA certification.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Microsoft Office, and Procore.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
