• Assist customers in locating books and recommend similar authors or titles.
• Organize and shelve books according to operational standards and promotional priorities.
• Maintain store cleanliness and assist with recovery tasks.
• Communicate inventory issues to management promptly.
• Utilize available resources and peer knowledge to enhance your training.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Follow Loss Prevention protocols to minimize shrinkage.
• Stay informed about surrounding businesses within the facility.
• Maintain regular attendance.

• Ability to engage with diverse personalities and foster relationships.
• A genuine love for reading and discussing literature.
• Experience operating a cash register and proficient computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Prior experience in cashiering or cash handling is essential.
