Job Summary

The Production Planner is a key member of our team at D & G Machine Products, Inc., responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production process. This role requires strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Planning: Manage the production schedule to ensure timely completion of projects, coordinating with multiple departments and stakeholders as needed.
  • Material Management: Oversee the receipt and storage of materials, ensuring that they are available when needed to meet production deadlines.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure that equipment is properly maintained and functioning correctly.
  • Quality Control: Work closely with the Quality Department to ensure that products meet quality standards and are delivered to customers on time.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including production teams, engineering, and quality departments, as well as external partners and customers.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 2+ years' experience in a production planning role preferred, with 3-5 years' experience in related disciplines including production supervisor, production planning, manufacturing or assembly work required.
  • Skills: Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
